6/16 K2C East Bay VIP Reception – A Big Thank You to Our Partners

Local civic, education, business and nonprofit leaders joined us at Beneficial State Bank on Thursday, June 16th for the K to College East Bay VIP Reception. It was an evening to celebrate our joint effort to provide school supplies and hygiene items to thousands of homeless students throughout the East Bay, in addition to 10,000 Oakland students, 3,000 Berkeley students, and 500 Emeryville students. The program featured speeches from Mayor Libby Schaaf of Oakland, Mayor Tom Bates of Berkeley, Mayor Dianne Martinez of Emeryville, Superintendent Antwan Wilson of Oakland Unified, Berkeley Unified School Board President Beatriz Leyva-Cutler, President and Cofounder Mike Hannigan of Give Something Back Office Supplies, and K to College Vice Chair of the Board Tim Sbranti.
