The Alameda County Give 22 Kickoff was held at Z Café & Bar on February 24th in Downtown Oakland. The event was attended by many Alameda County leaders and K to College Supporters. The story of the night was the donation of $15,000 and $75,000 from Mechanics Bank and Give Something back respectively. Afterwards, K to College’s Executive Director Benito Delgado-Olson and Board Chair Don Solem expressed their deep gratitude to Mechanics Bank, Give Something Back and all of the other attendees for their continued support of the largest school supply distribution program in California. Featured speakers included Alameda County Supervisor Keith Carson, Alameda County Office of Education Superintendent Sheila Jordan and Give Something Back Office Supplies President Mike Hannigan.
