K to College Partners with Target to Expand to Sacramento

SACRAMENTO, California – Target expanded its partnership with K to College to reach the Sacramento region, providing more than 1,250 low-income students with necessary school supplies. The distribution started Thursday morning at Peter Burnett Elementary School, where more than 700 happy students opened tote bags full of school and dental supplies. The smiles continued Thursday afternoon at Parkway Elementary, where 566 more students received materials. Guests included Sacramento Unified School District’s Chief of Staff, Koua Franz, along with dozens of volunteers and representatives from Target.
