K to College talks about the School Supply Initiative on Comcast Newsmakers

Host Jack Hanson interviews Benito Delgado-Olson about the K to College ‘School Supply Initiative,’ the largest effort of its kind to provide low-income students with the tools they need to succeed. Distributing 175,000 school supply kits since 2010, K to College is launching the Give 22 campaign, a joint request from Superintendents, teachers, parents and others to Give $22, our cost to provide one student with $65-70 worth of school supplies. Delgado-Olson adds that K to College is able to do this with less than 1% overhead.
